Did you know LinkedIn has over 121-million users who log in every single day? And they are only a piece of the over 610-million members who all value LinkedIn which include chief-level executives and decision makers.
Still not convinced? On its own, LinkedIn accounts for nearly half of all social media traffic for B2B (business-to-business) websites, leaving Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and the rest combined to make up the other half. LinkedIn also still touts the highest user average annual income.
So I have to ask… are you using LinkedIn to its full potential?
Here in SLO County, we generally don’t. San Luis Obispo has plenty of tech companies, but our branding as a “small town” county keeps many individuals and businesses from leveraging promotional tech tools like LinkedIn. What they don’t know is that missing out on LinkedIn means missed opportunities and that can hurt your bottom line.
LinkedIn is more than an online bulletin board for job-seekers. It’s a resource that users trust and use to find service providers, make referrals, and network. It’s a place where people can seek you out (and your business) based on your skills, knowledge, and industry.
It’s the end of the year, and while many savvy business owners will be maximizing deductions by buying new office equipment on Black Friday, Shop Small Saturday, and Cyber Monday, don’t forget that marketing and education can be business write-offs, too. Give yourself the gift of some LinkedIn training to elevate your social media marketing strategy in 2020; your business (and new customers) will thank you!
