operation happiness kristi lingI work with a lot of start-ups and small business owners as a social media expert and SEO instructor here on the Central Coast of California.  And because I give workshops as a guest of SCORE (the Service Corps. of Retired Executives), San Luis Obispo Chapter, I meet more small business owners than most people I know.  Something I’ve noticed is that the entrepreneurs that are only in it for the profit don’t last long.  Owning a business is about doing something you love everyday, something that makes you happy.  If you aren’t happy with your business – IT SHOWS!  Trust me.  So I thought I’d recommend a book I recently read called “Operation Happiness,” by Kristi Ling.

Bolles.  He has released several versions of his book.  I haven’t finished reading it, yet, but it was recommended to me by a professor as a book to help identify where you belong, which is a perfect fit for someone trying to find their happiness and considering starting a small business.
